sound so much like chips at Vegas
I never realised it till now
But chains they are both
Lifting a load is not chance
nor spin of wheel or throw of dice
effort is required to see
the end of the deal
deals come and go,
how true are you to your soul
no drink, no cigarette will help you forget
deals that went sour and how regret
all you have is effort,
and the belief that it will get best
till that time; spend at home
in prayer and in hope
that your effort is not in vain
it is the best for you to gain
spend time with kids to see
how simple life could be
